1. What EMBRACE is (and isn't)

EMBRACE is a workplace self-regulation tool. It is not therapy, mental health treatment, medical care, or a crisis service, and it does not provide clinical advice or diagnosis. It is designed for ordinary, functional moments of activation: before or after a meeting, a hard conversation, a tense day.

If you are experiencing thoughts of harming yourself or others, stop using the app and call or text 988 (US) or call 911 immediately.

2. License

We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, per the App Store terms.

3. Your content

What you write in EMBRACE stays on your device (see the Privacy Policy). You own it. We claim no rights over it and cannot access it.

4. Required product analytics

The anonymous product analytics described in the Privacy Policy are a condition of using EMBRACE. You must acknowledge the data notice before use. You may withdraw that consent in More at any time; collection stops immediately, and you must stop using the app unless you acknowledge the current notice again.

5. Free core and EMBRACE Premium

The core experience — the reset, your sanctuary, your history, and on-device debriefs — is free. EMBRACE Premium is an optional auto-renewing monthly subscription, billed through your Apple ID, that unlocks AI-personalized debriefs (see the Privacy Policy's "Optional AI Insights" section). Payment is charged at confirmation of purchase; the subscription renews unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel it in your App Store account settings. Premium requires the separate AI Insights consent to personalize with AI; without it, Premium features fall back to on-device summaries.

6. Acceptable use

Don't reverse engineer, resell, or misuse the app, and don't use it where failure to obtain professional care could cause harm. It is not a substitute for professional support.

7. Disclaimers

The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that your data will never be lost, so keep your device backed up.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages arising out of these terms or your use of the app.

9. Changes and termination

We may update the app and these terms; material changes will be shown in-app. You can stop using the app at any time; deleting it deletes your data.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, excluding its conflict-of-law rules.
